SPRING is now here, the daffodils are gracing gardens around our suburbs, and for those lucky enough to live in the country, the lambs are a delight to see frolicking in the paddocks. We look forward to warmer weather coming and kicking the flu season out the door.
We have a very interesting event coming up with the trip to the Sculptureum on 19 October. Bookings are open, but will be closing on 7 October, as the coach trip requires early notification of final numbers. Our new Committee have held their 2nd meeting by Zoom, and final plans are under way for our Xmas lunch and our Guest Speaker is Richard Thomson CFO, Air New Zealand.

SCULPTUREUM
19 OCTOBER - BUS TRIP TO MATAKANA'S SCULPTUREUM Bookings close 7th October. Don't miss out!
The club is subsidising this event so the cost is only $44 per person and includes entry fees, and return bus transport there and back. Lunch is not included but there are several local eateries or you could pack your own, and there is a cafe and restaurant on the site.
The bus will depart the Downtown Terminal at 10:30am with a pickup at Albany en route to our destination in Omaha Flats Road. The departure time is 3:30pm for the return journey, allowing plenty of time for wandering around the Artwork, Sculptures and lunch, and the bus will return via the dropoff point at Albany to the Downtown Terminal in Auckland at approximately 5pm depending on traffic.

Our preferred payment option is to PAY ONLINE USING POLi which is the same process as used by Government departments, Air New Zealand and many other companies. You don't need a bank card and the payment is made immediately. You can also print a receipt for your records.
SUBSCRIPTIONS
As confirmed at the AGM, all existing paid up members will have their subscriptions extended to July 2023 with no payments due until then.
